I recently attended the launch of jewellery designer Sarah Angold's SS/13 collection at the Wolf & Badger store on Dover Street.

The beautifully handmade collection is inspired by contemporary architecture paired with her love of perspex resulting in something truly spectacular. The design and structure of her pieces are created to fall nicely and complement the human collarbone which each piece artistic, unique and stunning. Her designs are what I would define as the 'couture of jewellery' with every detail mathematically calculated and carefully constructed with exquisite detail and precision. The geometric quality of each piece is complemented with a muted black, grey and white palette with flashes of neon and reflective colour - Very unusual and futuristic.

Whilst I was a the launch at the Wolf & Badger store on Dover St, I tried on some of Sarah's pieces. I just loved how the necklace sat around my neck - Very balanced and light. Her jewellery pieces can transform any simple outfit into something amazing. With a wide variety of styles from stunning bracelets to statement necklaces and gorgeous cutting-edge cocktail rings, her collection definitely stands-out out. And, although the pieces are quite bold and certainly not made for the faint-hearted they speak for themselves - true works of wearable art!
