It's a fantastic idea actually that Evans has decided to collaborate with Beth Ditto on a capsule collection that encapsulates her personal style.
The collection that was created with a similar concept to that of Kate Moss' with Topshop finally goes on sale this Thursday (09.07.09) and the singer has brought her favorite pieces to the Evans design team to create imitations that fans would be able to relate to the musician with. A not so original design process with many of these celebrity collaborations; copying designs that are already out there but somehow it has managed to work. This however has been a much need collaboration and it couldn't have come at any better time if not sooner. It's a great way to connect with an under-represented and much neglected market when it comes to fashion as many size 14+ women generally find themselves having to deal with only finding fashion foward pieces that are half their size - well not anymore.
