Not just a plain vest...

Artistic and Bright

This spring's prints are artistic, fun and bright and so I decided to play with two floral vests and came out with two looks (see further below). I was mainly inspired to try out these looks by DVF's S/S09 collection and John Galliano and House of Holland. I like the way the prints where mixed with different bold colours which just made the pop out of the catwalk looks in a very stricking and extraordinary way. So the garment I chose for my print was a vest top. (See below).

The great thing about using a vest though is that you can wear it casually or you can choose to dress it up by wearing accessories that compliment the colours and the vibe you're trying to create with the look as an individual. You can also pair it up with a skirt, pair of shorts or high-waisted trousers and the rest just falls into place. Fantastic thing about a print is that you don't have to try too hard to accessorise; sometimes you can just go bare. Great with heels but can also go with a nice pair of flats with some gorgeous detail at the front.

...and not to forget, print vests are quite the thing of the season so don't be caught without one. You can get yours from Topshop's great selection or simply pick from my fav's below. (All from Topshop).
