...like a Hepburn.

"The LBD is no trend, it's a classic..."

Over the years, we have seen the Little black dress come down many catwalks and stocked in almost every womenswear highstreet store. For a long time now, it has been perfectly safe to say that it's more than just a fashion staple. The LBD is no trend, it's a classic and this autumn/winter, it is celebrated once again.

"From mini's to strapless dresses to knee-length's and one-shoulders..."

I like how every year, the little black dress keeps being re-invented and in the recent years we have seen all shapes and sizes. From mini's to strapless dresses to knee-length's and one shoulders, the Lbd has come far but yet seems to be getting better and better.

Made famous by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), the little black dress has been a wardrobe essential to many women and has managed to carry them through the ups, downs and through the rough times when they absolutely had no clue on what to wear. It's versatility has been the ingredient to it's survival and will carry it through more glorious decades of fabulousness and effortless chic to come.

Here are a few of my personal fav current highstreet LBD's...
