London Fashion Week Round-up!

Day 1

I really liked the tailoring by Caroline Charles and the gourgous evening dresses from Ben de li si. Biba had quite a great collection of cocktail dresses which had a great mix of volume and tight fitting dresses. I liked Osman Yousefzada's colour palette which comprised of fresh pastels and blush tones with a hint of cobalt and coral, the detailing was impeccable.

Day 2

I love Paul Smith and this time he gave us masculine tailoring which was really strong yet but with a feminine twist, the sketchy rose prints were very delightful.

Day 3

Duro Olowu's showed off his collection in metallic prints and vibrant colours in his signature 'blousey shapes' but Marios Schwab's silhouette remained throughout with nude styles that had burnt out areas worn over faded jeans to dresses. It was surface decoration for Christopher Kane with fanciful paillettes and a pallete that was formed of alot of greys and dark colours.

Day 4

I really liked the high waisted bubble skirts and peplum brocade jackets by Armand Basi. Richard Nicoll's collection carried foward themes from last season that focused more on structure, form and layering and Roksanda Ilincic showed-off her finely tuned fanciful dresses with floor sweeping gowns that were mesmerising.
